This method is used to treat problems that are localized, that is, specific to one or more joints, while taking the whole body into account. This approach entails working in depth, helping us discover the sources of the problem. The physiotherapist, trained in GPR , selects the appropriate postures to re-align the vertebral column and to stretch out the muscles that were causing the deformations and the pain.

For example: if a client's problem were limited to a shoulder joint, the treatment would not be localized. The entire body would be studied to determine the postural compensation that may be linked to the root cause. Overall postural deficiencies are corrected while paying particular attention to the shoulder.

GPR also addresses other problems of posture: scoliosis, kyphosis, leg and feet deformities. It is also invaluable in treating patients who have joint or muscular problems in various areas of the body or for those who do not show improvement with other methods of treatment.

This type of treatment requires the active participation of the patient and the will to improve. It encourages you to become aware of your body and to be in tune with its tensions in order to release the tensions and ease the pain.
