This specialized treatment applies to patients who suffer from tendonitis, bursitis or chronic fasciitis.

The innovative principle of this treatment is to generate another inflammatory phase in order to stimulate and accelerate the natural healing process. The repetitiveness of micro-percussion may also contribute, to the prevention of scar tissue forming.

The machine itself consists of a compressor and a pencil shaped handle with a head at the tip allowing transmission of repetitive percussion. Percussion on the desired area and the underling tissues (tendons, bursa or fascia) generate radial shock waves. Depending on the depth of the affected zone, the therapist will adjust the pressure to promote healing.
